Compulsive & Problematic Sexual Behavior

Understanding Behavior. Creating Meaningful Change.

Problematic sexual behaviors can create significant distress, affecting relationships, emotional well-being, and one's sense of self. These concerns are often accompanied by shame, secrecy, fear, and isolation, making it difficult to seek support.

I work with individuals navigating a broad range of problematic sexual behaviors, including compulsive pornography use, sexual behaviors that have become disruptive or destructive, and individuals who have engaged in illegal sexual behavior or are involved with the criminal justice system.

An Approach Grounded in Accountability & Compasssion

My approach is rooted in the belief that lasting change requires both accountability and compassion. Taking responsibility for harmful behavior is essential, but shame can often become a barrier to meaningful growth.

Therapy provides a space to honestly examine these behaviors without minimizing their consequences or reducing a person to their actions.

Together, we work to understand the emotional, relational, developmental, and behavioral factors contributing to problematic patterns, strengthen the capacity to make different choices, and develop healthier ways of relating to sexuality, relationships, and oneself.

Specialized Clinical  & Forensic Experience

I have extensive experience working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system, including clients both before and after adjudication.

My background also includes specialized forensic assessment and evaluation experience, which informs my understanding of the complex clinical and legal considerations that may arise in treatment.

My practice is primarily focused on providing therapeutic services, helping individuals develop greater self-awareness, accountability, and healthier behavioral patterns.

Moving Forward With Purpose

At the heart of my work is the belief that people are capable of meaningful change. Even when someone has engaged in behavior that has caused harm, there is value in understanding how they arrived there and helping them build a life guided by responsibility, integrity, and connection.

Taking the Next Step Toward Change

Meaningful change begins with understanding, accountability, and a willingness to move forward. If you're seeking support for yourself or someone you care about, I welcome the opportunity to connect and explore how we might work together.
