Eating Disorder Therapy & Family Support
Healing from an eating disorder is about much more than changing eating behaviors. It involves rebuilding your relationship with food, your body, and yourself.
Eating disorders often develop as a way of coping with experiences and emotions that feel difficult to manage. Over time, concerns about food, weight, and body image can begin to take up an enormous amount of space, making it harder to feel connected to yourself and the life you want to live.

An Approach Rooted in Understanding
My approach focuses not only on reducing eating disorder symptoms, but also on understanding what those symptoms have come to represent or provide.
Together, we work toward developing a more compassionate relationship with yourself, greater trust in your body, and a relationship with food that feels more flexible and peaceful.
I see recovery as a process of rediscovering a sense of wholeness that extends beyond food, weight, or appearance.
Individualized & Collaborative Care
I work with adolescents and adults navigating eating disorders, recognizing that each person's experience and path toward recovery is unique.
Eating disorder recovery often benefits from a collaborative approach and I work closely with registered dietitians, physicians, and other treatment providers to support comprehensive, coordinated care that addresses both the psychological and nutritional aspects of recovery.
My goal is to help individuals and families feel supported throughout the healing process while fostering a healthier relationship with food, body, and self.
Supporting Parents and Families
Eating disorders often affect the entire family. Parents may find themselves navigating the difficult balance between supporting their child's recovery and managing their own fears, uncertainty, and emotions.
I believe parental involvement is an important part of treatment, especially when working with adolescents. I also work independently with parents whose children are receiving eating disorder treatment elsewhere.
This work offers parents space to better understand the eating disorder, strengthen their ability to support recovery, and navigate their own emotional experiences.
My goal is to help parents feel more grounded and confident in their responses while preserving, and ideally strengthening, their connection with their child.
